Instructional Designer • eLearning Developer
I’m an instructional designer and eLearning developer with nearly a decade of experience building self-paced courses that are clear, engaging, and grounded in real outcomes.
Most of my work focuses on software walkthroughs — from basic introductions to detailed systems training. I also develop product showcases and soft skills modules, adapting quickly to new tools and shifting priorities.
I handle projects from end to end: project kick-off, SME collaboration, storyboarding, authoring, QA, LMS deployment, and post-launch evaluation.
I often juggle multiple projects at once, and I use AI tools and process optimizations to move efficiently without compromising quality. My templates and toolkits help my team maintain speed and consistency across deliverables.
In 2019, I trained for and completed my first marathon after starting from zero and working up over ten months. That year, I joined over 20 races ranging from 5Ks to half-marathons. These days I channel that same focus and discipline into my creative and professional work.
I’ve supported LMS migration efforts, including cleaning and re-categorizing over 3,000 courses and creating visual assets to improve catalog usability. I also designed and maintained Smartsheet dashboards for multiple teams, which tracks KPIs like project completion, course minutes, training attendance, and learner feedback scores.
Prior to my current role, I worked as a data analyst at AC Education, where I built trackers and dashboards that helped manage college enrollment and faculty workloads during a major institutional transition. I also did freelance Excel work early in my career and taught myself how to build macros and automated workflows — skills I still use to streamline reporting and course data management today.
Visual design is part of my development toolkit as well — I create branded templates and assets using Captivate, Camtasia, and InDesign.
When I’m not designing courses, you’ll usually find me playing video games — and I mean seriously playing. I’ve logged over 8,000 hours in Old School RuneScape, where I’m maxed and hold Master Combat Achievements.
For workouts, I stick to whatever feels fun and sustainable. Usually some Fitness Boxing, a few rounds of Just Dance, or a lazy spin on the stationary bike while watching YouTube.
I like reading fiction and the occasional celebrity memoir, and I’m a fan of tech videos and character-driven TV (Breaking Bad is a favorite).
I live with two cats, Maliit and Puti (named by my dad, who swore he didn’t want pets). Now they have full run of the place.
